The new HP Latex range consists of four printers: HP Latex 700 and 800, and the HP Latex 700W and 800W.
WHITE INK CAPABILITY: The 700W and 800W printers offer white ink capability for the first time in this category. This is the whitest white ink available on the market that does not yellow over time allowing print businesses to produce neater outlines and add more contrast to darker supports.
FASTER SPEEDS FOR BETTER PRODUCTIVITY: The HP Latex 800 and 800W offer 50% higher productivity levels compared to previous HP models with updated printheads boasting more nozzles and enhanced speeds of up to 36 m2/hr (388 ft2/hr). Operationally, HP PrintOS also enables PSPs to monitor and control their print fleet using a cloud-based interface they can use virtually anywhere, anytime.
SUSTAINABLE PRINTING: Each printer in the HP Latex 700 and 800 series use the HP Eco Carton – a cartridge made with cardboard material, reducing the amount of plastic used by 80%. HP’s water-based inks are also kinder to the environment.
4TH GENERATION INKS: The new HP Latex 800W uses 4th generation inks including black, cyan, light cyan, light magenta, magenta, yellow, white, HP Latex Optimizer, and HP Overcoat. Ink for the 800 series printers is actually more affordable compared to those for the HP Latex 570 series. The 700 series uses a 1-L box ink and the 800 series uses a 3-L box ink.
OVERCOAT FEATURE: With the HP Latex 800W system, you can turn the overcoat on or off as needed allowing users to save valuable time and money with the simple switch of this setting.
REDESIGNED PRINTEAD SYSTEM: The new printheads on the 800W provide the user with more nozzles. This boosts the 800W’s printing speeds up an unbelievable 35% faster than all of the current models out in the market. Not only are the new printheads quicker, they are also more durable and guarantees accurate color consistency from panel to panel.
IMPROVED HEATING SYSTEM FOR INCREASED PRINTING CAPABILITY: The improved system dries prints faster for a quicker production rate and can print on more heat sensitive material such as fabrics.
REVAMPED TAKE UP SYSTEM & LOADING SYSTEM: With the new 800W model, users can lift the entire heater in the printer, providing easy access to lift the top portion of the printer to expose the media and give quick access.
